Can anyone recommend an SPF lotion (or spray perhaps?) that doesn't feel heavy?

Maybe I'm putting it on too thick, but my face and throat feel like I'm covered in oil or Saran Wrap :(
Really a creepy feeling.  I do wear a hat...but still need the sunburn protection.

Thanks,

Gwen in L.A.

The bullfrog spray is pretty nice but it's alcohol based and might not be the best for your face if you have sensitive skin.  There are moisturizers and makeups out there with sunblock in them, also.

I also use waterbabies....other than the scent (I don't like scented stuff) it seems to work well.

I am not sure what SPF you need, but I am very fair-skinned and I always burn.  The best one that I've tried is Neutrogena UltraSheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 45.

Thanks, I will try the Neutrogena product. Have always have good results with their brand in other cosmetic/toiletry items.

Thanks to all for your feedback!

I crisp in the sun.  Years of 'product testing' to find something that would save me, I found Bull Frog Quick Gel Sunscreen 36.  I do not burn when I use it and it is waterproof.

I'm a guy so I'm not sure if I'm violating the sanctity of the womens forum, but heres my two cents anyways.  This is my fifth or sixth summer lifeguarding (can't keep track anymore) and I can say coppertone makes some good stuff and its oil and paba free.

do you find the banana boat is hard to blend into your skin? When I put it on its like I just put on a layer of that zinc stuff that was so popular in the 80's
