[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Is my java not strong enough?

Any computer geeks here? I can't get the board code, icon legend, or animations buttons to work.

GRRRR I drooling over all the fun I could be having with all the unseen (to me) icons that I'm imagining are there (or maybe it's just the whole cats and curiosity thing).

Any thoughts?

When I click, I get !error on page. and that's it. Edited to add: I would, I would, I would have gone to help, but you know.... LOL

If you're using software that blocks popups, animation, etc (such as Adsubtract), it needs to be enabled for this web site.

None of the little buttons have worked for me since the board upgrade a few weeks ago.

I'm usually inclined to believe that (in my case) the Error Exists Between Chair and Keyboard (EEBCK) but I did allow popups/ads on this site the first time and it still didn't work. So I completely turned off popup blocking (not just for this site) logged off, shut down, deleted cookies, shut down again (just for giggles) then logged on again and it still doesn't work.

Ah well, perhaps I'm doomed to stick with this guy: his (just kidding)

Just two of the things that Goatboy hasn't gotten around to fixing since the upgrade. Search is not working (for the members) either.
