I posted this in another thread but think you ladies would like to see this documentary, too.

"Lioness." It is about women soldiers in the sandbox, going in harm's way.

US policy says "No females in combat..." however, there are certain duties, mostly involving contact with Muslim women, that females MUST perform.

All these women are in combat situations... many of them get shot at... many of them shoot back.  The Army has designated them "The Lionesses," and are getting them recognition for their special contributions to the war.

It isn't especially anti-war, or pro-war... it is about the unique contribution they have made.

Netflix's write-up:

Through first-person interviews, journal entries and archival footage, filmmakers Meg McLagan and Daria Sommers present the rarely told stories of the first female Army support soldiers sent into direct ground combat in Iraq. The film profiles five of these so-called "lionesses," who share their candid observations about serving their country under pioneering circumstances in decidedly uncertain times.
