WOW! Those are all original WWII propaganda posters... the real deal! The American and Allies ones are very valueable, but that French one is worth a fortune.

....and the belt-feds...

That is really cool! I like the tie-in with the local community and micro brewery events. What an awesome place!

Great volunteer job keeping up that armory and the presentation of the war memorabilia. I'd be proud of that role too!

Thanks all. It's a huge work in progress, we're volunteers and have regular jobs so it's a lot of work....we've made huge improvements. If you saw the episode of "Ghost Hunters" from this year (Season 11 Episode 6) the room above looked completely different. And we still have work to do to finish it up.

Next on our stuff to work on list is our room with our Revolutionary War through Indian Wars collection! We've got a killer Civil War collection with a lot of items with provenance (and a few Rev War items like that, too) including uniforms, guidons, swords, etc....

That being said we are a small place, a tour is about an hour (2 hours if you get all the details)

if you are in the area (East Greenwich, RI) we are having a beer tasting fundraiser with museum open house this Saturday, November 19th.

I should have taken a picture of the car that decided to slide through the intersection during the snow storm the other morning. It came down the hill and slid into the short wall in front right in front of the cannon to the left as you face the building.

Stupid people.

OP could you post pics of each panel that are in the first pic

Starting with the Panel that holds the Japanese flag on over to the right .
It looks like a pair of Beretta Model 38 in the 2nd panel and if you can post some pic of them .
I'm an active collector of WWII small arms and it looks like you have some nice examples .
