Anyone use a good offline family tree maker? I have my family tree on Ancestry.com, but I'm always concerned that one day they'll make it a requirement to have a paid subscription or I'll lose everything. So, I would like to back it up with something I keep on my computer. |

I use Personal Ancestral File from the LDS Church. It's free and I imagine it always will be. |

I enter dates like this: 25 Dec 2010, but it seems like I get a bit of an error message. Do you enter them differently? |
