I recently had a few items on GunBroker and one of my lowers sold with a Buy it now option. A checked the address and it was a CA resident.
But he says he is a resident of another state (he is in the military). With a CA address used on GunBroker is it legal to sell even though it is shipped to another state? (I don't feel comfortable with it myself, but just trying to find out if that is legal). |

Federal law allows active military on orders to meet the residence requirement purchase firearms in the state they are in. |

As long as your shipping to an FFL in another state, it is up to that FFL to verify his identification and transfer the firearm; if that FFL finds it is not legal, he won't do the transfer.
If your worried about it, I would pay your local FFL to ship it for you and write you a receipt - then as soon as he does that its out of your hands legally and in his. |
