| I'm sure this is beating a dead horse, but I just took my concealed carry class (Oklahoma) and the lawyer got me thinking and now I am a bit paranoid. I have a 14.5" barrel AR15 with a welded FS. I just want to make sure I am in the clear. Measuring from the flat portion of the front of the upper receiver, I have 16.25" to the longest portion of the FS. Is this the proper method of measuring? I have free floating handguards, so it is difficult for me to tell where the "barrel" begins. While I am being paranoid, how can you tell to make sure the FS is actually welded on? It looks exactly the same as it did before I sent it in. Thanks. |
