[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Another Perm Weld Question

Gents,
I've been searching the BATFE website today, and I also have gone through the AR15.com archives to determine the "approved methods" of permanently installing
a flash hider/muzzle device. I've not been able to locate the details on the ATF's website.....
Thankfully, many educated facts/opinions are floating around on this forum, but I'm looking for the BATFE's version. Any help with a link, is much appreciated.

think its silver solder all the way around, 4 equal spaced welds around, or a pin with a weld over it.

not sure though

Silver solder all around is how the factory does it.
