| Can an adjustable stock that telescopes (like Scott Medesha's) be put on a post-ban? If you are not familiar with this stock, it attaches to the receiver extension with a bracket and screws and can be slid forward and back to adjust length of pull. What is definition of telescoping vs adjustable? |

My feeling, not knowledge, on this is; telescoping stocks = a large change of dimensions for the sake of compactiblity or ease of transport. adjustable stocks = a small change of dimensions for the sake of personal fit. Surely not all those "spaceguns" are built on pre-ban lowers. |
| I'm thinking that a knowledgeable ATF opinion on this would revolve around the receiver extension. An adjustable stock would be one where the length can be changed but has a full length receiver extension where an telescoping stock has a variable length but a less then full length receiver extension. |
