[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Using a 10+ round mag

I'm a Calif shooter and I own a preban mag (stamped 1989) on the floorplate. I know it's legal to own it, but is it legal to "use it" in Calif? In other words, can I take it to the range and use it without worrying about some FFL dealer attempting to confiscate my mag? I read the DOJ language, but I'm not a lawyer. An opinion would be appreciated.

It's perfectly legal to use and, even if it weren't, no FFL dealer could legally confiscate it anyway.

dont worry dude, theres millions of preban mags in kali, and most arent even dated. many people bought mags for guns they didnt even own yet, the mag law is really unenforceable.
