| Iwould like to know what practical shooters, ar fans, 3 gun guys do in md. i have heard that there are restrictions and a magazine limit [how can that be?] in md. i love these sports and activities. |

If you already own any "Hi-Cap" magazine that is fine. Once you live in the state you can only purchase 20 rounders (or less) in the state (so while you're in FL get all the USGI 30's you can). No practical rifle shooting at this time - we are working on it. I know of no 3 gun matches. Where in MD will you be? Don't forget to stop by http://www.MD-AR15.com or Calendar list gunshows, shoots, training events and competitions that are AR-15 related. We also have lists of local vendors and places to shoot your AR-15. |
| FOREST, thank you. i feel better to hear that. i may end up near frederick, and am interested in helping to contribute to help this type of sport. here in south florida, the south florida pistol club has provided shooting oppertunities, great stages and a great time. |

Ok Frederick is about 40minutes west of where we have our Maryland AR-15 shootes. I've heard a rumor that a club in that area wants to start a practical shooting club (for rifles). I'm still trying to track them down. We could start a tactical shooting club tomorrow if we could find a range. I've yet to find one that allows that type of competition in Maryland (and the one we were using in VA is now off-limits do to circumstances beyond our control). |
