I have a postban bushmaster with a sixteen inch barrel. I was reading the gun laws in TN and it said that a rifle must have a sixteen inch barrel. So here is the ? can I remove my muzzle break and still have a legal rifle? I do not believe that the end of the barrel is threaded but I'm not 100% sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA.

If the barrel is 16" without the muzzle BRAKE, it is still legal without the muzzle BRAKE attached.

If you have this rifle... ...your barrel is 14.5" without the brake. As stated above, you're better off getting a new barrel. Bradd
