Im sure these get asked all the time, but I was unable to find an answer via searching. I live in TN so I dont really have to worry about those rediculous semiautomatic rifle restrictions like some of the communist states like.
What are the legalities of building your own Ar15 meaning what markings, If any, must it carry, is it ever transferable, are there any taxes on it, etc. I am especially interested in any ATF letters regarding the matter. Thanks in advance guys |

Thanks in advance guys Going off memory... What markings MUST it carry? If you are making for your own personal use, none. Is it ever transferable? Pretty sure. Any taxes on it? Not if you're manufacturing for personal use. |
