Doing a short paper on cameras and video in the courtroom and jury deliberation room. Sort of the pros and cons type paper. Topic was assigned to me...
I'd like to e-mail a few questions to some lawyers to get their input and perspective. If you don't mind helping out, please IM me your name and e-mail address and I'll shoot you a short questionnaire. I'm wanting input from lawyers, Public Defenders, Prosecutors, law enforcement officers, and citizens who would perhaps be on a jury. |

Quoted:
Cameras allowed in court room under certain circumstances & with courts approval. The camera is not allowed tape victim / witness. Jury members are not allowed to be videoed. Their delibrations are kept secret. Big no no on video or recording of any type. I appreciate all the replies but unless I can get some one to send me their name/e-mail address I really can't cite their input and them as a source of information. If you don't mind, could you IM more about your opinion(s) and in what capacity you serve in the "system"... it would be a big help. |
