I was hurt at work last week. Because of the injury the doctor put me on light duty until the 25th of Oct. My boss told me friday not to come back to work until I'm off light duty. Is this legit?

In Texas, the doctor can give you a light-duty release, but the employer is not required to offer light-duty work to an injured employee.

Thank you. Thats what I thought but I have had several people tell me differently.
