So I went to my FFL that has done the transfer of a few firearms for me in the past. I went in today to pick up my new Glock and was bs'ing with him while he entered all my info. 30 seconds later he was like WTF that's odd? "Hey man it didn't process and it was automatically queued into a delay status, come back Tuesday and you should be good."
Is this a result of a more extensive BG check by the the BATF or FBI..? I have never had a problem regardless of the firearm or day....

| It could depend on how busy the system is. If there's more than a couple of gun shows going on the backlog can be some what large. I been delayed a couple of times on weekends for this reason. if you haven't been doing anything out of the norm there shouldn't be a problem. |
