Any you guys have any experience or knowledge with this temp. service? My company just went with them a few months ago and alot of the workers seem to have a "history"

I would think you are dealing with the cross section of workers known as career unemployable.
Mostly comprised of: drug and alchol addicts, tax cheats, dead beat dads hiding from the system, mental cases, illegals w/ forged papers etc etc Basically everyone whom you DO NOT want working with or for your company. I am sure there is a normal guy that shows up occasionaly .... but more than exception than the rule. |

My company just went with them a few months ago and alot of the workers seem to have a "history" Bri yeah a couple jobs ago they brought them in to replace us but, anyways yeah they were umm special we had one old chick 50 or so who constantly smelled of booze, then we had the 600 pound Cuban big mama. thieves and as well. also apparently one of them shit all over the womens room floor. basically it seems like they stop at the nuthouse and swing by the jail to pick up people for work. |

I used to be in sale for the company.
I will start by saying that Labor ready is one of the only temp companies nationwide that pays its temps DAILY IN CASH. What you work that day, you get paid for that day. What kind of people need cash in hand on a daily basis? I'll leave it to your imagination. Most other agencies pay better and pay weekly or bi-weekly. So their temps tend to stick around longer and work harder. You can request that the temps that work for you be put on a weekly ticket. Then you are more likely to get people looking for a full weeks work. However, if you only need temps on a daily basis, just pray. |
