| I keep hearing so much strange shit out of them. I think they could definitely hurt us financially if they chose to do so. They hold a lot of our bonds, manufacture an obscene amount of goods we consume, and simply cutting out the cancer seems to be impossible considering our current lifestyle. Reading the article, well, seems like sanctions from the commies is in our future. |

Well it is not too far away, 02/11, and that is such a bummer too. My birthday is tomorrow, TEOTWAWKI is not my idea of a good belated present!
I think the whole stop buying Chinese made products is a knee jerk reaction made by many. It sounds nice, and is reminiscent of a bygone era when the products you bought were made locally. I can remember a big stink being made because a big box store that ends with Mart sold more China made products than American made products. We could stop buying goods from China, but the repercussions would be greater than many anticipate. |

That would simply be economic sanctions in retaliation for the development of nuclear weapons. That is much less aggressive than sending in the B-2's. It is the least we could do. |
