| In texas....do I have to roll my window all the way down when I get pulled over? Or can I just crack it enough to slip my ID/Insurance through? |

I would say he's trying not to ruin the hot box. No, I had a cop claim he "smelled pot" in my truck after he stuck his head in my window. The dog's said differently when they got there, and I made sure to call and complain once again to Austin's crap PD. |

Is there any problem with responding to the requests of the officer? When the officers are AUSTIN (might as well call them californian) Police, yes, absolutely. They aren't here to help you, they are here to screw the citizens and make as much money as possible by oppressing the (law abiding) people. |

Common sense says to open BOTH windows and at night, turn on the interior light. Take a bath if you smell like hippy...
My truck didn't smell of anything but the damn glade scent thing that sits on my vents. I keep the interior pretty immaculate at well... |

I would hesistate to have a piss poor attitude towards all cops. I respect them for having a difficult job, anything I can do to make it easier for them, I'll gladly do. If possible I roll down all my windows, both hands on the wheel. That good attitude has gotten me out of tickets and shows that I don't have anything to hide. Unless its a jerk of a traffic cop, they get the picture real quickly that this stop is not worth their time as it won't result in any good finds. what did you get pulled over for anyway? |
|
No, I once only rolled down about an inch
This was after a local female cop stopped me. I got out of the car and she puy her hand on her gun and told me to "get back in your vehicle" I told her "OK lady, you got the gun". I didn't tell her I had one too
BTW, her nickname around town was Robobitch |

I have tried the "kill them with kindness" tactic many times, every time I get douched. Hands at 10 and 2, keys on the dash, overhead lights on, smiling ear to ear. Pulled over because my rear license plate light was out.... |
