What weapon do you reach for to take care of it.

I usually just flip-out and chop their heads off But if for some odd reason that doesn't work, I know that 9mm basically just annoys the monsters so I pull this out of my back pocket:

I've got an ambush for 'em. Tripwire to a flare, and 3 claymores (one on the nightstand, one hidden under the bed and one camoflaged as a belt-buckle on my big stuffed snoopy), all focused on the closet door. Any monsters coming through there are hamburger, baby![peep]

TR-116 with microtransporter [:)]
TR-116: The TR-116 has been developed by Starfleet for use in areas where normal phasers would be useless - within dampening fields or radiogenic environments, for example. The weapon uses a chemical explosive to fire a Tritanium bullet. It is fitted with a microtransporter; when the bullet was fired the transporter beams it to within less than 10 centimetres of the target. By using an exographic targeting sensor the user is able to scan through many layers of bulkheads, allowing the TR-116 to be fired through walls or flooring.

Why do you need a weapon? Just tell the fat lesbian anti-gun B*tch to get back in the closet--her carpet munching was already well known before she came out anyway. Edited to add--just pull your "gun" out of it's holster and she'll run screaming anyway. (This is my Rifle, this is my Gun, this one's for shooting,....)

I keep a boombox with a red hot chili peppers CD in it. Monsters, or any intruder for that matter, are impervious to the talentless bile spewed forth, usually resulting in involuntary gagging and permanent mental damage leaving said monster/intruder dumber for having heard it.

My dog sleeps in the closet, and takes care of any monsters. (I know, he's wierd -- but he loves to be with me at all times.) Beyond that, a Colt Commander with Hydrashoks... it sleeps next to me.

OK, this is like the coolest sniper rifle ever... The projectile materializes 10cm from the target....damn cool. This bad boy isn't banned in California, either!

The monster under my bed will get pissed at all the noise and kick it's ass. Or, if it doesn't feel like it, I'll reach for By the way, does anyone know where I can get some Tritanium bullets?

I use a flash bang to disorient and drive him out of the closet. Next I club him like a baby seal with a 36" hickory baton, rendering him immobile on the floor. At this point the monster is loaded into my duece and a half contact truck and auctioned off on Ebay to the highest bidder. Please check out my other auctions.

Exterminater 17 guards my closet.

Actually the monsters are really more afraid of you than you are of them. A simple boo or even a spray bottle with monster repellant works just fine. Destroying the closet in not necessary and does no good because they just move to the next closet.
