Ok I'm sure this isn't the first time you've heard it... The SCAR's buttstock looks like a moon boot. Well, a while back someone had the bright idea of placing the appropriate footwear on the little foot.  And thus an internet legend was born. Being that I participate infrequently on such boards as 4chan (if you don't know, don't ask) I thought I might continue the meme...  Which then lead to...  Along the way, it was noted that the SCAR's stock is really quite happy.   Finally some other posters started chipping in...   ..And demanded pictures of the shoe on while the SCAR was being fired. Of course I always deliver.   |

Granted the SCAR went through some rigorous testing and is a great rifle that stands on it's own merits, but your statement is still silly especially when you're comparing it to a gun specifically made for a testing and evaluation program that happened before the ACR was conceived. |

There are plenty of good quality firearms out there that the military hasn't adopted. |
