Near the end of the epic movie Red Dawn, Matty and Jed take to the town and raise a lot of hell. As they're riding on the train, the Russian officer that's assigned to 'hunt' the Wolverines, he has some sort of Submachine gun/PDW that he shoots Matty with, and eventually shoots Jed as he gets plugged by a good old fashioned Colt SAA.
My question...what kind of subgun/PDW was that? Hax |

Your new favorite site: ETA: It says it's a Jatimatic SMG. |

Quoted:
Better yet, where did the inch pattern commonwealth L1A1's come from that are featured in the lumber mill shootout scene. Look close as 2 wolverines are hunkered down behind a bunk of sticks, they have inch guns. Probably the same place as all the FAL's fielded by Russian forces in MW2. |

The Russians didn't field FAL's, the South American militia did. The Russian forces in MW2 had TAPCO-fucked AKM's, Tavors, Steyr AUG's, and other shit. Why they couldn't, you know, give the Russians AK-74M's or even AN-94's, I dunno. Why give them NATO weapons and AK's they haven't fielded since the 1970's?
ETA: Also, apparently Russian paratroopers carry South African shotguns that haven't been produced since the 80's. And the US Army issues Desert Eagles and generic .44 Magnum revolvers. |
