I picked this up at the local gun shop for 120 bucks, figured it wasnt too bad for 250 rds of .308 either way.  So what can you tell me about it?  If its good, then I will go see if they have any more and get another 500 rds.

That's Paki .308.  I don't know if it's good or not.

If you're ever buying .308 and you see the headstamp 'OFV' RUN AWAY!

The only experience with POF I have is POF .303, which was click-bang kinda stuff.

Can't say that I've ever shot any.  I just remembered POF = Pakistani Ordnance Factory or something like that and googled it.  The JGSales $100 for 250 rounds is one of the best prices I've seen on 7.62 NATO in a while, but shipping might kill it.

Sportsmans Guide has been selling that.  They list it as Pakistan manufacture, non-reloadable and non-corrosive.

Is it Berdan or Boxer primed?

ETA, nevermind, above post answered that.

Prolly Pakastani, just pop it out of the belts.  J&G has it $99 for 250

Well that sucks with the Non-reloadable aspect of it, I guess I will leave it at what I've already bought then, I am going to start reloading here sooner or later.. I guess I'll just shoot what I have and look for more later..

Berdan and it's not bad, but I believe I've seen it listed elsewhere for cheaper? have to do some digging.

Holly Hell the day people think 400 per K for nonreloadable 7.62x51 is good. Iknow, I know but jeez.

That's german or russian-type non-disintegrating metal belt it's linked in.  The push-through design should be compatible with your M60 or M240

Berdan is reloadable, just not easily so.

I don't even mess with that stuff. They say you can reload that steel cased shit too, but I only buy brass cased-boxer primed. I prefer keeping it as simple as possible.
