I just purchased a GoBook III without an operating system. As all of my other home machines run XP (home on 2, pro on work machine). I was planning on picking up a Windows XP OS on eBay for this machine. I know Windows is teh suk, but I also need this machine for the wife and kids (hence GoBook).
Am I okay with a Full Windows install disk set? What are the differences between Home and Pro? Are there any benefits to running Pro over Home? Thanks! |

Yes, you're ok with the full install disk. You're not ok with an upgrade disk.
Here is a good article detailing the differences between the two. It's kind of old, but then again, so is WinXP so it's still accurate. |
