[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Gall bladder removal

I have been fighting with mine for a month or two now. Finally had it out today via laproscopy. I'm home. in a moderate deal of pain but vicodin is helping. Anyone been through this have any recommendations on how to make a speedier recovery or anything? Thank god im an In shape 22 year old, hopefully it makes the healing process that much faster.

I had to have mine taken out the old fashioned way. Got a helluva scar though!

be damn careful what you eat/drink. Your GB was a filter for alcohol.

You'll be in good shape in a couple more days. I was out of work for 5 weeks when I had mine removed, because I waited and laproscopy didn't work.

3 hours after mine came out, I was using a hurst tool to cut a woman out of her car after she got t boned by a peterbilt when she crossed the median. Don't do that.
