[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Clocks by Coldplay (Page 1 of 2)
There is nothing wrong with that tune, other than I bought the CD expecting more music that sounded like that and it was chock full of fail.
Addicting tune though. That Clocks song is still being used as "inspiration" (read: ripped off liberally) on commercial jingles and stuff, even now. 8 years later. Arfcom cannot has my man card. It is mine because I am man enough to admit I like the occasional poofter song.

If I could figure out how to embed, I would save this thread by posting some Amon Amarth or some other manly music. .... we need some folk metal ASAP.........................before this thread completely turns into a Vagina-rock music fest. Next they will be talking about John Mayer. |

I bet you got little save pitiful, portable picnic players. Come with uncle and hear all proper! Hear angel trumpets and devil trombones. You are invited. ![]() |

Coldplay clocks sounds like U2 sort of... They have a good song or two and the rest are annoying, but your comment is over the top and uncalled for. Is there a name yet for the musical version of Goodwin's Law?z you know its Arfcom when an 80 year old is arguing the similarities between U2 and Coldplay

If it's as "great" as that Amoon Abarf I'll pass. This is what's knocking my socks off right now: click Blew out 2 speaker in my truck listening to this. I have to replace them in the Spring.
edit: This is a highly compressed version... Bass is notably lacking and it sounds very washed out... edit2: THIS sounds much better |
