You're not the first and definately not the last to get screwed by Botach tactical.
Do a Google Search for stuff that've pulled. http://www.epinions.com/webs-Web_Services-All-Merchants-Botach_Tactical/display_~reviews |

I have made many purchases from Botach starting back in 1994 (no ARFCOM warnings back then). Up until yesterday, I had had only 1 problem with them, which they quickly corrected.
Yesterday I called to buy some ammo and also spoke to a woman who was hard to understand. She said someone would call me back and they did. I was informed that, other than law enforcement personnel, they only sold ammo and guns to citizens who lived in the US but outside of California. He also told me that they only made in-store sales to law enforcement, even though I have been in their store and made purchases, and I am not law enforcement. The California ban on internet ammunition sales does not go into effect until 2011. Botach is in California. I tried to get an explanation and he started rambling on about accounting practices (he had a very strong accent and was also hard to understand). I guess they don't need my business anymore. |

Tried to buy from them. Waited forever with no merchandise. Finally got in touch with them, was told the item was out of stock and cancelled my order. However, they had two of the same item for auction on Gunbroker with auctions ending within the next day or two for higher opening bids than the price I had ordered at, each with no bids.
So, they either lied to me about it not being in stock, or they were running auctions for items they didn't actually have. Either way they're unethical douchebags, IMO. |

I ordered a twist mount from them a few years back for my 3x magnifier and also a spacer. They sent me the twist off mount and a flip to the side mount, but no spacer. I called them up, asked them about the spacer and then told them about the flip to the side mount, they refused to pay for return shipping of the flip to the side and wanted to charge me for the shipping of the spacer. I wound up selling the flip to the side and buying a spacer from Midway instead. Just my experience, but I will never do business with them again.
