So I went to Meijer's last night to get some weekend groceries.
First, I drop a pickle jar. When I go to check out, I ask the cashier to scan my pickles twice because I broke one of their jars. Now, I was hoping she would say, "naw, that's ok, you're not responsible for the pickles". Instead, she doesn't miss a beat, and scans the pickles twice. Next, on the way out, I went to buy a scratch off ticket. I pay for one, but the machine spits out 3. I go to the customer service and hand them the 2 extra tickets, "your machine gave me 3 instead of 1". Now, I was hoping that they would say "thanks, but you can keep them". Instead the CS guy looked at me like I was a crazy idiot, grabbed the tickets. I suspect he went and scratched them himself later. Oh well. P.S. At least, they didn't see that $12 shirt I carried out...
