Only qualed Marksman, but that's because I went full retard on qual day and put the wrong dope on for the 300 m firing line. Saved my ass on the 500m though.

Sgt Martinez was a handsome, tall, black haired hispanic. These two guys were the true odd couple, total contrasts. SSgt Pascuzzi was mean as hell, Martinez played the "good cop" role. They were a good pair. Martinez had a heavy accent, his answer for everything was, "Tough shit airman. That's just tough, tough shit."

You know that TSgt Pfingston became the 10th CMSGT of the Air Force. He died a few years ago of cancer. At a graduation ceremony this year I met his wife and youngest daughter. They were the guest of honor at a coin ceremony and a parade.

We didn't have any female instructors back in my day
I was at Jackson.

Co-ed platoons require co-ed drills...

My 'conversion' to Combat Arms is happening at the hands of the Guard, so I kind of get to 'avoid' the OSUT experience - although I hear plenty of stories from the guys in my platoon...

Never really got personally smoked by any of them. Hell they could barely remember my name.

Most notable wasn't even my DS but I had the misfortune of having him for KP. Ssgt. Crumpler from Bco 3/325 Dude was nuts. He also had huge horse teeth. He smoked my ass to the like which I have never seen again. I was on pots and pans (worst detail in KP). He came in and asked who wanted to piss. While I was standing at parade rest my foot started to slide from the water and grease.

He looked down and saw my foot sliding. "Walking at parade rest huh little turd?" He then proceeded to have me to grass drills in the greasy, soapy water on the floor. Tons of pushups that were impossible due to the grease. Every time I slid down he yelled some colourful words and had me flip over and do flutter kicks, then mountain climbers, then push-ups, flutter kicks, more mountain climbers. After a while of that he put me in the electric chair. By now I was already in muscle failure and the greasy floor wasn't helping. I kept sliding down the wall.

He makes me low crawl (yeah side of face to the floor and elbows flat) out of pots and pans and into the dining room where it was dry do he could smoke my ass more. After a while of this I could see all the other privates on KP peeking out watching me get tore up. I was in the electric shair once again but without the aid of a wall to hold me up. At this point I didnt really feel any more pain but my muscles didint cooperate anymore. He kept me there until my legs started to shake violently trying to hold me up. He then asks "do you feel the lightning shooting up your asshole , little turd?".

For a brief moment I thought about it. Yes, why yes I could actually feel lightning  shooting up my ass , down to my shaking legs, up my spine into my shaking arms and out the top of my twitching skull. I actually wanted to tell him just that and for some idiotic reason, I was elated that his question was very accurately realted to what I was feeling. But for some reason the only thing I could mutter was "hooah".

He had me recover and stand at parade rest again on the dry floor and he asks "Are you sorry for what you did you fking little  turd?" referring to "walking" at parade rest. I let out a loud "Yes Drill Sgt!" He said. "BS, you don't sound convicted.

Smoke session two commenced. I was so dead from muscle failure he made two other privated help me on pushups. Basically it was impossible to lift myself up. They others did that. All I could do is slowly and miserably lower myself to the floor. That went on a for a minute or ten then asked me again. "Are you sorry now turd?" I let out a loud "HELL YES DRILL SGT!!". A big assed smile grew across his gorilla/horse hybrid face of his and almost let me go.

He holds his fingers to the sides of his head and closes his eyes. "lets see if you are psychic" "I am thinking 1. get the Fk away from me now or 2. do mroe push-ups." Well since I was screwed either way I figure I would go for #1. I made it about 5 feet before he makes the sound of a game show buzzer and stops me. "You are not psychic, I was thinking #2" DROP. He dropped me and I did like 1 pushup. Since it was impossible to do one at that point he made me gator walk back to pots and pans.

I never did piss that day.

i can only remember Senior Chief Ayala. This is because I ran into that man in several different places over my time in the Navy. Hell, as luck would have it, I met the man even before I joined. I didn't realize who he was at first, but eventually it clicked when I heard his voice. He's got a very peculiar accent/speaking problem.

The two assistants were both dicks and I don't recall their names.
