I am in the deep, deep south. Currently 25F. Forecasted lows for at least the next week: 11-25F Forecast for Thursday/Friday: 70% chance of snow High: 24F Low: 11F This will be the coldest weather here in at least 25 years. I love it!

I work outdoors, and the last two summers have been much milder, and this winter is colder than typical. My pump house light is on and water dripping. Its been tough so far. I have lost 4 cows and a calf, and my brother lost a hunting dog, to this cold. |

I have been VERY aware of temp and conditions since strting this job. Over the last 4 years the summers have been getting milder, don't remember a single day over 100 this past summer, and the winters have been getting progressively worse every year. In the 90's, i can remember pretty clearly every time it snowed, because it seemed to be a rare event. In the last 4 years, I can't remember all the times it's snowed. They will still be screaming "Global Warming" when the glaciers are encroaching into the lower 48 and the average high temp for the year is 65. |
