It takes me 3-4 hours to spray my gun collection with E-EZOX. The smell is unbearable for that extended period of time.
I have to spray all of my guns for protection againest rust, once every year.

Do you think a gas mask can help ? I never had one before.

How about this one ?

I don't spray my guns more often because of my democrat wife, I had to keep all of my guns in a gun vault at my family’s house just 45 minutes away from my house, I keep all my guns there safe and secure inside pelican cases.
this gun vault costed my grandfather a lot more money than the prices of all of my guns combined. And it is worth it.
I only keep max of t1 or 2 guns at my house in a small gun safe hidden from my anti-guns crazy Irish wife.

I understand how she feels because 5 years ago, her father was shot by one of his friends

Damn, pricey  Hell if your just going to use it for that, just buy a cheap Israeli mask or Finnish ones I think you can get for like $10-15, not like your going into battle in mustard gas or something.

Oh, why don't you take the damn things outside??

That's an excellent choice in mask and filter, kinda expensive though if it's just for odor control while cleaning.

A half-mask respirator and industrial organic vapor or multigas filters can be obtained at a much lower cost.  If you're spraying the chemical the full face gives you an extra bit of protection against any eye contact though.

3M makes some very nice respirators that are designed for the purpose of working in close proximity with chemical fumes. They are also fairly cheap. Depending on what you are doing, you snap in the applicable filter cartridge.

PK Safety seems to be pretty good. They also have some very nice, clear, and informative videos on Youtube, which they link to on the site.

1) You don't need to do it every year unless they are laying around bare in a humid environment.

2) Don't keep it in the Pelican unless you have a sufficient amount of desiccant. The open cell foam traps moisture and can cause your guns to rust.

3) If I were you, I'd Ezox them once, put them in gun socks, then in your Pelicans without foam and with silica gel, then your vault. Should last decades with no probs.
