I've had a Goldenrod dehumidifyer in my safe for going on 15 years.  I remember it used to be almost too hot to touch.  However, the last few times I checked it it was just warm.  Is it time for a new one or do they cycle high/low and I'm just checking it on the low?

After going 15 years I would replace it.

Mine was never hot to the touch when I got mine. It was always just warm.

Mine have always been just about too hot to touch.  I did have one fail, but it was full on, completely cold failure.
