Posted this in Handgun forums...but I didn't get much info... I put 200 rnds through it without a hitch, and it was great...but I am wondering about this loose ejector...the one on my Glock is rock solid (because it's molded into the frame, unlike the Sig). Any ideas? I'm not sure about that. I'm not a Sig expert, but none of my Sigs have ever had a loose ejector that I can remember. I'd certainly keep an eye on it. When you shoot are you noticing inconsistent ejection? |

Posted this in Handgun forums...but I didn't get much info... Just bought a new Sig P229 in 9mm. It's my first Sig, and I noticed it has a loose EJECTOR. #32 on the picture below (I think). By loose, I mean it wiggles side to side slightly. Not sure if this is normal or not, and if I need to tighten it somehow. Thanks for any help. http://www.your-gun.com/upl/Image/sig/sigsauer10.jpg I put 200 rnds through it without a hitch, and it was great...but I am wondering about this loose ejector...the one on my Glock is rock solid (because it's molded into the frame, unlike the Sig). Any ideas? Damn that's alot of parts. |

Thanks everyone. I will call their customer service tomorrow and see what they say. But I am not going to send my new handgun to Sig repairs for 2 months if I can just bring it to my local gun store to have it looked at for a few bucks... Their turnaround is pretty quick. For that, 2 weeks, maybe 3. They will email you a pre-paid label and cover the shipping both ways. I would send it to Sig. |
