When a new word comes around everyone says it? Atleast in my area I got everyone started on the terms beat, and sketch. Just curious as to why everyone says a new term when it comes around?

I started watching the Cartoon Metalocalypse and now every time I see something cool, or over the top I refer to it as being "Brutal."

differen't words or lingos are typically fads. When they first start everyone says that word, once a new word comes around everyone moves to that. Notice how only washed up hippies say groovy nowadays?
