Mine's almost nine years old. |

Nice dogs! I saw on Hannity where they have former service dogs for adoption at Lackland AFB...thinking about going to see what I can get. Yes, it has been a year and a half since my GSD crossed the Rainbow Bridge I think it is time. http://www.militaryworkingdogs.com/dogstoadopt.shtml |

She's not too sure she likes snow. http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii134/taylorandwhitney/DSC_0283.jpg http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii134/taylorandwhitney/DSC_0294.jpg In the 2nd pic, she has that "DO NOT WANT" look on her face |

And I know I might have 4 great years with a former service dog. I know how to handle them and I know they love to work but need to keep it gentle in their later years. |

She's a Norwegian Elkhound, but that's still close to a GSD. Oh, and that's her cat. http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg253/lange22250/DSCN2193.jpg Tabby?

Awesome, AWESOME pics in this thread!!! GSD's are the most loyal, faithful, protective, and overall goofy dogs ever! They love to get into trouble when your not looking then give you that goofy assed sideways look when they get caught My Zoe loved to play in the snow and would mother us if we had a bad day. She just knew we were in a bad mood and would nuzzle us until we felt better. I miss my Zoe |

Your dog's face is an avatar waiting to be made. Especially with your screen name. That 'smile' is hysterical. |
