About 2.5 hours north with her boyfriend at the casino. They drove up yesterday and the two of them were gonna leave this morning. They got inside his 1998 Tahoe and it just cranked over and no fireing up at all.
So as a nice guy that I always am, I got the phone call from my Mom about 10:30 this morning stating what was going on, And that my sister was gonna drive her Blazer up there to get them. I figured no biggy as it's pretty difficult for fit 3 adults in an extended cab S-10. Now, I DO NOT get along with this boyfriend of my Moms. This dude intruded on a married couple when I was 13 years of age. Yes, I know it's my Mom and I always try to help her out as much as possible. Triple A shows up to load the tahoe and offers a ride back to town and the boyfriend declined and stated the ride would kill his back. Fast forward to around 11:15 and I get a phone call from said boyfriend. I didn't aswer the phone becasue his lame ass can't tell a screwdriver from a socket. My Mom then calls me right after that point as I was getting ready to have lunch. She was wondering If I was able to follow my Sister up to get them. Low and behold i find out that the sisters boyfriend and my brother are now along for a ride in a 4 door blazer. I didn't decline to help but, My Mom figured that they might have an issue fitting 5 people in the blazer. Well, A normal person would look at the situation and say, "Somebody has to stay back so we have enough room for the trip back". I got a text message from Mom about 2:30PM, and she said that the crew in the blazer want to stay and gamble for awhile and they didn't. They were getting tired and just wanted to go home when the other crew arrived. After I got the message, I thought to myself that I would have been screwed sitting there waiting for someone to ride back with me. I suppose Mom would have rode back with me but, hive mind told me that she probably would have stayed with the boyfriend and my brother may have rode back with me. They are now on their way back and my brother is riding in the very back part of the blazer/hatch area. Hope they don't get pulled over..... I freaking hate Casino's. I've never been in one and quite frankly, I won't even pull into a parking lot of one. 
Edit: Been getting power surges all day and had to post what I had typed. Alright, I guess what I'm trying to get at is why would I get a phone call when they already know I can't do anything about the situation? |
