Got out for the first time in 3 days.......after digging the car out for an hour.

geetin some now, got flurries yesterday and enough to keep sweepind the sidewalk .

But yeah, we had wind for a week straight and the snow collected after the old stuff melted from the rain we had.     Some folks  have water in basement instead of a foot of snow on the ground.   My inlaws for example .   So far were cool here.

yeah when i woke up this morning it snowed here to

They changed the forecast from 2-3 to 5-10 this morning.

It's all fluffy, blowing stuff - not even decent construction material.

Haven't had more than a light dusting in over a week.  In fact what was about 2 feet is down to less than 6 packed inches.

No snow in the forecast until Tuesday, and then only a 40% chance.

Mother nature sure doesn't watch the news!!    They said the storm will taper off saturday..........  well......  it is picking up like day one again.  Snowing/blowing

The snow that was in my AO melted with all the rain we got. Just sunshine and cold now.

Last  snow here was '89-90 winter. Don't miss it mysef.

Yep, had to snow blow out the driveway twice so far, once at 11:30 last night so my wife could get in the driveway after work. I would guess he have a good 18" + covering our back yard. Enough snow to to put our German Shepard chest deep in snow.
12/26/2009 1:33:40 PM EDT

Yep, about 10" of global warming coating, and more coming down right now.

They are saying 20+ inches as of this afternoon have fallen.  Still snowing.....   And lots of blowing.

Are you in Minot? The news said Minot had 24 inches of snow.

Exactly what I did on a school field-trip I had there once. I knew I was going to be holed in a tall hotel so I brought optics; every guy in my group loved it.
I live in North-West FL, and haven't seen snow since the early 90s.

I was on the road near Tulsa a few years back when they got about a foot or more of snow,  LOL  it was funny watching people try to drive!

14" in the back yard now, 1-2 coming overnight.

No, but it's been raining for over a day. Almost all of the snow melted and there's so much water everywhere. Over half my backyard is under water. I drove through a few puddles on my way home today and it was as if a wave crashed on the hood of the Jeep.

Glock19,  I know how you feel,  I sold my 85 Bronco and got a 03 Focus (I'm really regretting that now!),  Moved into a apartment so i hadda sell off my toys,  out went my sleds,  99 MachZ 809 triple,  and a 95 Mach1 670,  both were like new too.  as if that wasn't bad enough ,  I hadda sell my ATV's too both were 05's, One was a Suzuki Vinson 500 and the other was a LTZ400,  and..... the trailer for them.     But.....  family first and those things called priority's and all.

HOLY SHIT!!! Thats alot of snow!

We have flurries right now, nothing over an inch expected for the next few days. We tend to get a couple real good snowfalls yearly of over 10 inches. I would rather have that than the usaul ice storms in march, those just suck ass

Why don't folks that get lots of snow have garages or put their cars in them

Seems all the pics around here always show cars covered and people bitching about digging them out.

I have a garage,  2 cars in it,   wifes car, and my Mercedes is in it,  that leaves my daily driver out.      Digging it out doesn't really bother me too bad,  it's part of life. Hell,  i had my car dug out way before the streets and parking lot were clean.

We had trouble traveling 50 miles to my folk's house christmas eve because of the blowing snow.  Some stretches it was impossible to see past the hood.  Not much snow on the ground though, just high winds.

Beautiful GSD,  my grandparents always had well trained GSD's.  Love them,  wish i could have one,  just don't think it would be fair to the dog to have one in an apartment.

I want one,  maybe it would get me a little more motivated,  i know the kids would love it,  i just think having a large dog like a GSD in an apartment would be like him (or her) living in a box.
