| Well we lost power today at 8am and did not come back on till 10:30 pm what a crappy christmas this was in Ashe county NC anybody else spend the day with out power,water,heat. |

I work for an electric co. in SO DAK. not a lot of folks out on this side of the state.. not sure on the other side though. Basically anyone that went out after 2-3 PM today is staying off for the night/until we can get to them. But we have about a foot and a half of snow and sustained winds around 30 (was about 40 with gusts up to 60 this afternoon). Good Luck! Edit: They closed the interstate on the eastern side of the state last night @ 1900. Closed the other half @ about 0800 this morning. No travel advised on any road in South Dakota for most of the day. Wind Chill is hovering around -10 tonight as it has been all day. |

There are about 4000 people in my county with out power and 11000 in the next county all members of the same coop. |
