He came in, touched down, lifted back off and as soon as he peeled away he ejected and landed in the water right off the runway. We got sent back to the terminal for a while but when we took off we could see the AV8B in the shallow water, Pilot was picked up by Japanese fishermen and was fine. They used to crash pretty often, not sure if that has changed. Good video, hope he was ok. Another video I like is the "drunk pilot act", not exactly .mil but good flying none the less if anyone want's to check it out on youtube. |
