I was off work for 3 months, doctors request due to my fractured pelvis.
I was told by some close friends that do body work on cars, over 30 years experience, that 4th gen F Bodys are pretty safe in side impact accidents. Most other cars, I would have been in pretty bad shape. FYI, that truck hit me so hard that I broke the center console off of the floor. |
Looks like my shoulder a week after my bodysurfing wipeout in Delaware.
They'd been dredging the beach, so there was a bunch of rocks and shell fragments mixed in with the sand. I was (and am) pretty inexperienced with bodysurfing. I wiped out. Put some vaseline on it, you'll be fine. Seriously, a thin layer helps with the feeling. PS yes I'm keeping track of my moles. |

This one got me a total of 8 stitches, (forehead and right knee). It did slow me down for a couple of days.
