I think they are being treated better than our soldiers who are there. Screw 'em. I always support hunger strikes by prisoners. It's cheaper.

We have the only prisoners in the history of the world who have gone on hunger strike. That is a blatant admission they are being fed. Most aren't that lucky.

If I couldn't eat pork, I'd go on a hunger stike too. Hope the soldiers gaurding the prisoners break out the grills and have nightly rib and pork chop barbeques outside the cells.

Fellas... it's important that we respect their protest. This is an act of conscience and should not be thwarted by the authorities, with such brutal tactics as force-feeding them, or intravenous nutrition. That would be un-american.

Gosh, I hate to be the one to point this out, but it seems to me, when these guys were brought to gitmo we were told they were high Al-Quaeda "mucky-mucks". Last couple of days, the pentagon has acknowledged they don't have the evidence to charge them with anything, not even if they bring them before a kangar..ah military tribunual. It just amazes me how educated some folks are in American republican theory, and our Constitution.....

hmm, 4000++ American civilians are slaughtered in a massive terrorist plot and now our country has to pay to feed the jerks that are responsible. I'm glad that the taliban see the irony in this and have stopped taking food from the country they despise. I'm just glad my taxes aren't being spent to feed them any longer.

Starving takes too damn long! If I could only convince the US govt. to transport me and a few toys down there, I would GLADLY, no make that GLEEFULLY use my own weapons and ammo to end the unnecessary expense of feeding the bastards. I wouldn't lose one second's sleep.
