Anybody here tried it?
Or have any experience with it at all? |
|
Ahh, tryptamines. Very dangerous stuff. Psilocybin mushrooms are the only drug that I saw several friends try, and they never recovered. YMMV, but along with PCB, this class of drugs are among the ones I would not recommend trying for recreation (though the hallucinations are supposed to be great); to highly variable for me. I really have no desire to mess with serotonin levels unless I am already having problems there. |

In before the shit storm. Try 420chan , your just going to get yelled at here. I dont do any drugs. I dont smoke marijuana or really do anything. I smoked pot a few times back when I was 16 but have absolutely no urge to do it. I've never felt a high any better then going 200mph on a motorcycle... Nothing can touch it. I watched Joe Rogan's video about DMT and it interested me though, I was just curious on others experiences. No I haven't tried ecstasy or shrooms or anything else. Just a few different pain killers when I had various different injuries. |
| I'm sure someone will say somethin cause my low post count, but I have experienced the most potent pure form of it available. 600$ a gram or something. Anyway I can certainly say it was an experience. I didn't do much of it, but everything melted, which was expected. I can definitely say it permanently altered my brain chemistry, and it was immediately noticeable. Not a bad experience, just depends on your past experiences with hallucinogens and that sort of thing. But if you get a chance experience it in a very pure form, I wouldn't pass it up. |

Its been around for a long time. Its popularity come and goes, and its usually very hard to get. The fascination with it comes from the very intense high/hallucinations, and the very short time they last. Most hallucinagenics, on acid or mushrooms, build for a hour or 2, and then "peak" with intensity, then the user "comes down" over the next 8-12 hours. Its an all day experience, one which the effects will stick with you for a very long time. Most users wont feel "normal" again until they have had a full nights sleep, but residual effects can last days, weeks, months, years, or even be permanent. Dmt is a little different , in that the effects are an immediate peak, with a high that only last 15 minutes or so. This makes users THINK its a "short trip" and that it can be used recreationally. But the hallucinations caused by Dmt are much more intense, and can put users in a very dangerous situation. Because its a rare drug, and most have no experience with it, doseage is purely guess work. There is no large network of underground production, like other illicit drugs, so purity and contaminates are also a huge concern. Between the two issues, you wont know if you are getting a normal dose, or enough for a whole village in the amazon. Either way, you'll feel like its the later. All this stuff is pretty dangerous, and the effects will last a lifetime. Tracers/trails are neat the first night, 20 years later, not as cool. |

Considering DMT exist naturally in your body, and is broken down quickly by your body, the idea that a normal dose will cause an actual permanent change in brain chemistry is unlikely. That does not mean it won't change your perception by imparting alien experiences on you. DMT allows you to experience a very lucid dream world where obviously anything can happen, and at least for that moment, it can feel real. |

Don't do it. It is a very "dirty" high. Much like meth. Odds are you will itch all over your body for hours. You will overheat but you will forget to drink water because your brain is mush. You will see some weird shit, but nothing worth the side effects.
Imagine taking a weak hit of acid and doing a couple lines of weak meth. That is what you will get. If you want to see some cool shit and NOT feel like a sack of shit for the next week eat some shrooms and be done with it. |
| Yes a buddy I know makes it, comes from tree bark. Reminded me of salvia, lots of visuals, a warm fuzzy triping feeling. Last 15-30 min. If you want the real effect, you will not know if your alive or dead, you will truely be some where else, really frees the mind to think (sounds like a hippy right, Drugs aren't bad, people who can't handle drugs are bad) So flame away those who never have , but know more about it................... |

Lets see you need atleast 8-12 hours for mushroom plus 8-10 hour to sleep afterwards. DMT smoke a bowl free great for 15-30 mins then back to normal. Hell drinking beer has more side effects.

Quoted: Yep, they were "different" after the experience (two of them). At least for the 5-6 years that I saw them after the fact. Now many others did the shrums with no lingering after effects, but everybody's chemistry is slightly different. I am not anti-drugs, do what you want. And the tryptamines give some great hallucinations, but to me, not worth the risk. Never saw anyone who was permanently different after acid or peyote or anything else. Like I said, YMMV.Quoted: Ahh, tryptamines. Very dangerous stuff. Psilocybin mushrooms are the only drug that I saw several friends try, and they never recovered. You could just see them slowly spiral down into shit. This was all back in the late 60s very early 70s. |

I'm going to guess that whatever it was you got, it probably wasn't DMT, or it was made wrong. |

Anybody here tried it? Or have any experience with it at all? Tell me after you go to sleep tonight. Your brain produces it. This thread is full of so much bullshit, it laughable. 99% of posts aren't even even close to what DMT is or what it does. Educate yourselves. DMT |

Oh, I thought you were talking about the type you buy or brew to escape reality with. Understanding the effects, requires an understanding of how both forms take you to the same place. DMT does not just mean = Illegal street drug. DMT is uniquely differant from other drugs. It is vaslty important to us. Without it, you would die. People who have taken the street version say it is a "Waking Dream". Most people don't even know about it, they hear rumors about street drugs and automatically throw it into that catagory. Little do they know that every night when they dream they are taking a DMT trip. |
