| Where did all the old posts go??? At least in the AK build in yourself area that is, I can only get 5 pages worth, there used to be 100's of pages..Im back on my builds now that its cold outside and need to look some old posts up...... what happend????? |

uhhh, yah, well if you guys wanna get raped go right ahead........ as someone that works with computers, builds websites, etc..... I know for a fact that a site like this cost little to nothing to run and maintain........ its a domain name which doesnt cost much, and forum style software that runs on its own, admins that are not paid can monitor things.......... someone is making money hand over fist here.......... I might of given like 5 bucks a year

I'm not going to take any sides here, but wanted to point out to everyone who tries to make a point about "high bandwidth costs." My company's site transfers about 120GB of data per month, and PowWeb doesn't complain one bit. Costs us $4.88-7.77 a month and nothing more for (unlimited) bandwidth. We've got about $8k invested in the pair of servers, though. The only people who still pay/charge by the KB or MB are the wireless carriers. |
