I know this has been discussed extensively in the past, but I do feel like  so lets have it.
Personally I love living in an open carry state. Before moving into my new apartment, I had to go to the laundromat for washing the clothes. I would always OC there and even had the management tell me "Thank you". Apparently the thugs thought I was a cop and so they would stay away not knowing if I would be there that day. Anyone else make any kind of positive impact because of OC? |

I was at the Bair Ranch rest stop on I-70 (MM129 in CO) and I was OC. It was probably 1 or 2 in the morning and one other vehicle there.
As I walked in to drain the lizard, there was this full on thug looking guy. About 5'8'' and 230lbs at least and looked fresh across the border. He was washing his hands and I noticed him glance at my pistol. I went about my business, he went outside, and then came back inside. I am guessing he wanted to try and roll me as I finished and headed right out and had full alert mode going on. Waiting for that cocksucker to do something. I am convinced because I was OC, he didnt do anything. I am sure it would have been a diffrent story had I be concealed carrying that day as I normal do that. |
