OK, we've all gone to a gun show, and seen theh occasional INSANELY high price for a gun, or parts, or ammo. But I've seen it all now. At a show this weekend, I saw a Century "M1 Garand" knockoff for sale - for $700!!!!!!!!! THAT'S INSANE!!!!!!!!!! You can get a DCM original for $500!!!! I've seen this same guy before - ALWAYS the highest prices at the show. I didn't tell him, but I should have. You, sir, are NUTZ!!!!! |
| I see it at every show that I go to around here. At the last one here in Tupelo, a guy was selling (or trying to) South African 300 rd battlepacks for $70 when you can easily get them delivered to door for under $40. How do these guys stay in business.....does somebody who just doesn't know better buy from them? |

Quoted: How do these guys stay in business.....does somebody who just doesn't know better buy from them? Yup. These guys prey on the uneducated consumer. They usually have the biggest B.S. stories too. You know, "buy now, soon to be banned," "used by the Navy SEALS," etc. [rolleyes] |
