Looking at both N frames, want both, decisions decisions.....

Have both calibers in 1911's, reload both cartridges and want some wheel guns to boot.

I am in the exact same boat as you deciding on my first wheel gun. Originally I was looking at a 686 but not having to stock another caliber for one gun is what started to make me gravitate toward the 625 and 610. Personally, I'm leaning more toward the 610 for the simple fact that it can chamber both .40 and 10mm. I could practice with .40 (which is cheaper than .45) and load it up with hot 10mm for defense (which is more powerful than .45). The 610 just seems more versatile for me.

I have the 625 and love it.

The 610 does give you the option of shooting .40 S&W out of it.  Not to mention the high end 10mm  is pushing .41 mag levels.  Go for the 610 just for the versatility.

yeah I would go 610. Alot more power. I think thats the only good part of a revolver is accuracy and its ability to handle huge powerful cartriges, So go bigger.

I really like the 4" barrel w/ non fluted cylinder 610, pre lock version.
