A while back there was a link to some great steel targets which would actually hold up to prolonged shooting with .223 or .308, but I lost it. They offered disks and squares of various sizes and seemed pretty reasonable on the price.

Anyone have the link?

There is also this guy, I've bought a couple sets from him, good quality, holds up to repeated rounds of 308.

I've got access to a plasma cutter and torch. What would be my cheapest route?

Well, I ordered a plate from Wideners.

I take it shooting high velocity, suck as .223, 308 and 30.06 require at least 100 yards.

What about shooting the thing with 9mm and 45ACP? What about .22 subsonic? What kind of distances are considered "safe"?
