An article in USNWR got me interested in Googlewhacking. It goes like this... Maladroit wheezer. Comparative unicyclist. Banana circumcision. Each pair is a winning entry in the new game of Googlewhacking. It seems easy enough–try to come up with two words that yield a search result of a SINGLE Web page, one and only one page, at Google.com. The rules are pretty basic: Rule #1 - the two words must be found in the Dictionary. Rule #2 - neither of the two words you use can be ones already listed by anyone else. After about 8-10 tries I came up with this winner: coleopterist parakeet Any one else interested in trying their hand at Googlewhacking? |

Quoted: Second Try: myoptic banana Bzzzzt. Sorry, you broke BOTH rules, "myoptic" is not in the dictionary, and "banana" was already used (see examples in my post). Thank your playing, and don't forget your consolation prize - an 8x10 glossy photograph of Rosie O'Donnell autographed by Rosie herself! |

Quoted: Second Try: myoptic banana *Bzzzz* Disqualified! Not in dictionary. I think you meant myopic or myotic, but myoptic is not a word according to Webster's. That search does yield only one site though. Try this one on for size: disestablishmentarian gorilla Viper Out Edited because 'disestblishmentarianist' isn't in the dictionary either. My bad. |

Quoted: Quite original... but "microparasite" is not in the Dictionary... Bzzzzzzt. Sorry bud. Webster's Seventh New Collegiate Dictionary, page 535, second column, 5th from the bottom. You must be using one of those modern politically correct dictionaries that has words like "microparasite" and "pharpsnelexitude" expunged from it. |

All I have to say is that there are plenty of sick people out on the net. Some of the stuff I entered (and some of it was REAL bad) had litterally hundreds if not thousands of hits. Best I could come up with: Diplodocus cunnilingus I'd add a rule three though, which would invalidate my finding: The single site cannot be a list of dictionary words. :) |

Quoted: try it in quotes otherwise even the examples such as banana circumcision return 2,260 sites bzzt to you buddy [:)] Okay I tried in quotes and it returned two entries. And you're right, banana circumcision is DQ - that one was an example given in the USNWR article. |

Since it's an online game, I guess the online dictionary should be standard. |
