Hey, I use firefox and I am trying to access the discussion forums for my college's blackboard website.
When I click it they do not open up though. Internet explorer they open up fine, can anyone help me figure this out please. |

It might be trying to open a popup and FF is blocking it. You can change that by going to... Tools Options... Content tab Uncheck Block pop-up windows ...and see if that fixes it. Otherwise you can get the IE Tab extension... Tools Add-ons Get add-ons Search for IE Tab ...and open the page via an IE Tab. You can even set the page to always open in IE Tab by... Navigate to page Tools IE Tab Options Add button Ok button |

I know for firefox on the other computer it works fine... no idea why its like that on this one. Im going to try and reintall firefox maybe that will help. |

Clear cache/temp int files, update to latest version of Java. Also more details on the problem, you are being pretty vague. Give us a STEP BY STEP process of what you do and the errors you encounter, what functionality are you expecting and what are you not getting? |

Usually (on other comp) I log into blackboard, click the discussion boards. Click a topic to read that someone posted and it pops up a new window. The problem im having is that new window is not popping up and i cannot read anything. Im basically trying to get that window to pop up because otherwise I cant open anything. I see the discussion topic click it (its suppose to open) but nope nothing. |

wont let me do that.
Usually its like a discussion board like this. You see a topic, click it and it pops up in a new window (java) It never lets me right click though as its java, it just opens up when you click it in a new window. But now I just click it and it does not open up. WIth IE it works. |
| I've been having the same problems. I can't use the IM functions on this site most of the time and the only way for me to get a download to start is to right click and open a new tab. I tried uninstalling and even going back to the older version of FF. It started around the time 3.5 came out. |

Wish I could use firefox for blackboard...but looks like ill have to use IE hopefully no problems arise. |
