How many people when reading a touchy thread where good debate and discussion is going on, automatically looks up at the posters post count and join date?
I do. But does this really give credibility? Just wondering. WD |

I get a big kick out of people who will register in 09' (forgive my 08 join date) then pitch a fit about unspoken rules/arfcom memes, as if they were around when they were coined. It comes off as obnoxious and I'm sure others will agree with me. It's annoying and fucks up any credibility a new member could have. Its one thing for someone to read that ARFCOM 101 thread and play along, but Its pretty fuckin' obvious when someone is going FU AROCK 87!! out of fucking no where. |

If it's a troll like subject then I do...or if it's a superhero, I saved a busload of Nuns, I do. If it's just a controversial subject, It doesn't matter. I'm with him on it. Same with the post about bitching about certain arfcom rules/norms +1. |

Some people just dont post that much so it doesnt matter. Postwhore Trolling is generally a short term prospect IMO. They usually start out quick and either stay within the COC or not, but the content of the posts and general overall attitude is the give away. The aggressive ones come out fast and usually violate quick. The more clever and manipulative last a lot longer. Very few are long term sleeper accounts. |

And actually all of mine. |

My boyfriend has an account here, I signed up before school and totally forgot about this until now. I thought this would be my perfect first post. Surely your boyfriend, as a member of ARFcom, has explained the rules. Pics or GTFO. ![]() I do believe those are the rules. |
